The Orange County girls flag football rankings for Wednesday, Sept. 17.

1. Orange Lutheran 17-0 (1): Makena Cook completed 30 of 36 passes for a season-high 410 yards and seven TDs in a 46-20 victory against Aliso Niguel on Monday. The Lancers play host to No. 2 JSerra on Sept. 30.

2. JSerra 17-0 (3): The quarterback duo of Ava Van Heerde and Kate Meier helped lead the Lions past Newport Harbor 27-6 in the final of the El Toro tournament.

3. Newport Harbor 15-1 (2): The Sailors beat Classical Academy 27-18 and Edison 14-8 to reach the championship game of the El Toro tournament.

4. Santa Margarita 16-3 (4): The Eagles fell to Edison 34-19 in the semifinals of the El Toro tournament.

5. Huntington Beach 6-1 (5): The Oilers have posted consecutive shutouts entering their game against Fountain Valley on Wednesday.

6. Canyon 13-1 (6): Ella Feldhaus has passed for 2,968 yards and 42 TDs for the Comanches, who play at Esperanza on Monday night.

7. Esperanza 11-3 (7): The Aztecs defeated Cypress 13-7 on Monday to improve to 2-0 in the Crestview League.

8. Mater Dei 9-4 (8): The Monarchs open the Trinity League at Orange Lutheran on Sept 25.

9. Edison 9-5 (not ranked): The Chargers intercepted eight passes in a 14-7 triumph against Corona del Mar on Monday.

10T. Trabuco Hill (9-3): Emma Ortiz had 10 catches for 186 yards and two TDs, and an interception on defense, in a 19-18 win against Aliso Niguel in the South Coast League on Monday.

10T. Woodbridge 11-6 (10): The Warriors take a 6-0 record in the Pacific Coast League into their game against Sage Hill on Wednesday.
