The library is hosting a Harvest Festival at 11 a.m. on Nov. 22 for all kids 10 and younger.

Join Canyon Hills Presbyterian for Thanksgiving Eve
The community is invited to join Canyon Hills Presbyterian Church for a Thanksgiving Eve worship service.
All are welcome to attend this inspirational worship of gratitude featuring music by Godsend, the church contemporary Christian rock band. An offering of canned and dried goods will also be collected to help stock the food pantry and support the meal program at First Presbyterian Church of Orange. A food donation bin will be available during the Thanksgiving Eve service.
The worship service is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Nov. 26.

Canyon Hills church organizes Medicare workshop
If you find the yearly changes to Medicare benefits and supplemental plans confusing and want to learn more about the 2026 Medicare benefits, HMO and PPO plan options, there is a free Medicare benefits workshop being offered to the community.
This special opportunity, sponsored by Canyon Hills Presbyterian Church, is scheduled for 1 p.m. Nov. 18 in the church Fellowship Hall.
Workshop leader Bianca Lee, an experienced independent broker and founder of SoCal Benefits, will discuss the competitive insurance companies and give her unbiased advice to help simplify the process of choosing the most appropriate plan, organizers said.

Shop the Friends book sale
The Friends of Canyon Hills Library have a book sale scheduled from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 24 and 25 in the multipurpose room of the library branch. And the community is invited.
This is an opportunity to purchase used fiction, nonfiction, specialty books and collectible items — all at bargain prices. All proceeds support the various library programs the Friends group provides for the community.

CHOC guilds to gather for holiday fundraiser
The Guilds of CHOC are extending an invitation to the community for the 63rd annual Holiday Tree Luncheon from 10 to 2 p.m. on Dec. 7 at The Westin South Coast Plaza.
The $140 per person ticket includes the event’s signature holiday tree raffle, with trees designed by local designers and guild members; a silent auction featuring exciting gift baskets, themed wreaths and experiences; a live auction featuring trips and big-ticket items; and a gourmet luncheon by Westin’s executive chef.
Proceeds support Children’s Hospital of Orange County’s childhood cancer psychosocial support programs, specifically the Adolescents and Young Adults (AYA) Oncology Program, which is designed to aid teens and young adults, provide innovative medical treatment, follow-up care and psychosocial needs.

Learn to play mahjong at community center
For anyone who enjoys playing Chinese mahjong or those who would like to learn, a new social activity is now available at the East Anaheim Community Center.
