Beckman (9-4), which beat Brea Olinda 30-24 in the CIF Southern Section Division 8 final Friday, plays CIF-SS Division 10 champion Hillcrest (8-5) on Saturday at Tustin High in the SoCal Regional Division 4-A game.
Los Alamitos (12-2), a 33-20 winner over San Clemente in the CIF-SS Division 2 final Saturday, plays Cathedral Catholic (10-2) in the SoCal Regional Division 1-AA game Friday at Veterans Stadium in Long Beach. Cathedral Catholic won the CIF San Diego Section Open Division championship.
CIF-SS Division 13 champion Woodbridge (6-8) plays CIF Los Angeles City Section Division II champion San Fernando (5-8) in the SoCal Regional 7-AA game Saturday at University High. Woodbridge beat Montebello 24-23 in the CIF-SS Division 13 final.
CIF-SS Division 4 champion La Habra (11-3) travels to play at Bakersfield Christian (12-0) on Friday in the SoCal Regional 2-AA game. La Habra was the visitor Saturday when the Highlanders beat San Jacinto 27-13 in the CIF-SS Division 4 final. Bakersfield Christian is the CIF Central Section Division I-A champion.
Santa Margarita, CIF-SS Division 1 champion, does not have to play in a Regional game. The Eagles (10-3) will play Concord De La Salle (12-0) in the CIF State at Saddleback College on Dec. 13 at 8 p.m.
De La Salle will go into that game with two weeks of rest, having won the CIF North Coast Section Open Division championship on Nov. 21 with a 24-17 win over Pittsburg. Santa Margarita beat Corona Centennial 43-7 in the CIF-SS Division 1 final on Friday.
Other CIF State championship games will be played at Buena Park and Fullerton high schools, Dec. 12 and 13.
