Dan Albano’s Fab 5 outstanding girls basketball players last week, Dec. 1, 2025:

Adelyn Boberg, San Juan Hills, Sr., G

Boberg scored a school-record 42 points, including five 3-pointers, and added five steals and three assists in a 69-34 win against Great Oak at the El Toro Thanksgiving tournament. She averaged 23.8 points in the tournament.

Harmony Golightly, Mater Dei, Jr., G

Golightly averaged 19.8 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.5 steals to lead the Monarchs to the title at their Holiday Classic. She was selected tournament MVP.

Amalia Holguin, Sage Hill, Sr., G

The Texas signee averaged 21.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.8 assists to help the Lightning finish second to three-time defending state Open Division champion Etiwanda at the Redondo tournament. Holguin earned all-tournament honors.

Lenzy Turner, El Toro, Jr., G

Turner scored a career-high 34 points against Northwood en route to averaging 29.25 points at the El Toro Thanksgiving tournament. She received all-tournament honors.

Kayla Watanabe, Orange Lutheran, So., G

Watanabe averaged 16.5 points and claimed MVP honors to lead the Lancers to a 4-0 record at the El Toro Thanksgiving tournament.
