Poodle mix Rex just wants to find his forever home

Sex: Neutered male

Size: About 15 pounds

Rex’s story: Rex has had several homes in his life, and, sadly, those changes have left him a bit anxious. He loves outdoor adventures, such as hiking, walks, adventures and playtime. He needs an owner who enjoys these activities also, as they help him feel less anxious. Rex also adores car rides, wind in his face, cuddling and snuggling. He doesn’t like to be left alone, but if he goes to a home with a doggy friend, he will adjust. His soft, silvery hair is beautiful, as are his expressive eyes. Rex enjoys other playful dogs and playing fetch and chase. He also likes to swim. He doesn’t care for small children, so any kids in the home should be older. He takes medication for his anxiety, and it has helped him a great deal. Rex is potty trained and knows quite a few cues, including sit, down, wait, paw, touch and more. He enjoys veggies and fruits and is very motivated by food, making him easy to train. A former owner did a DNA test and, in addition to poodle and shih tzu, Rex has some Yorkie, pug and Maltese in him.
