With homebase at Angel Stadium under a pile of dirt for the next month, all eyes were instead on the finish line Saturday, Jan. 10, as AMA Monster Energy Supercross kicked off its off-road motorcycle racing season in Anaheim.

Throughout the day, riders roared around the dirt track that bulldozers spent the last week creating in the stadium, flying over the jumps and hugging the turns. The morning qualifiers lead to the evening’s main event before a packed crowd.
But first, riders hung out with enthusiasts in the earlier part of the day during FanFest.
