Federal judge bars the LAPD’s use of some ‘less-lethal’ weapons at protests

U.S. District Judge Consuelo Marshall granted a contempt motion by attorneys for Black Lives Matter-Los Angeles that called for an outright ban on the use of 40-millimeter less-lethal launchers for crowd control.
