1. Santa Margarita 14-1-3: Texas A & M commit Felicity Nguyen leads the Trinity League champion with 24 goals entering the CIF-SS Open Division playoffs. Santa Margarita kicks off the postseason at rival Santiago of Corona on Thursday in the first match of a home-and-away series. Previous ranking: 1
2. Mater Dei 11-2-7: The Monarchs, the third-place finisher in the Trinity League, earned the No. 3 seed for the Open Division playoffs. They play at No. 6 Huntington Beach on Thursday to begin a home-and-away series. Previous ranking: 3
3. JSerra 7-3-3: The Trinity League runner-up makes its Open Division debut Thursday by playing host to No. 2 seed Redondo (15-1-2) to begin a home-and-away series. Previous ranking: 2
4. Aliso Niguel 12-4-5: After claiming their first South Coast League title since 2020, the Wolverines are seeded eighth in Division 1. They play host to Great Oak in the first round Thursday. Previous ranking: 7
5. Edison 11-7-3: The Sunset League champion earned the No. 3 seed in Division 1 and play host to Mission Viejo in the first round on Thursday. The Chargers claimed their first overall Sunset League crown since 2017. Previous ranking: 8
6. Huntington Beach 13-1-5: The Sunset League runner-up received the No. 6 seed in the Open Division playoffs and a home-and-away series against Mater Dei. Previous ranking: 4
7. Canyon 14-3-2: The Crestview League champion rides a 13-match winning streak into its Division 1 first round match against visiting Hart. The Comanches, seeded sixth, play host to Hart at El Modena High on Thursday at 7 p.m. Previous ranking: 9
8. Orange Lutheran 3-2-8: The Lancers are seeded 12th for the Division 1 playoffs and play host to Chino Hills (15-4-4) in the first round Thursday. Previous ranking: 6
9. Newport Harbor 13-5-4: The Sailors, seeded 20th in Division 1, open the playoffs at Chaminade (11-5-4) on Thursday. Previous ranking: 10
10. San Clemente 14-2-4: The South Coast League runner-up is ranked 26th in Division 1 and opens at No. 7 Harvard-Westlake (11-4-5) on Thursday. The Wolverines were the runner-up at the Excalibur tournament to Mater Dei. Previous ranking: 5
