Little Saigon shared its celebration of the Lunar New Year on Saturday with the world.
The annual Tết parade on Bolsa Avenue in the heart of Orange County’s Vietnamese enclave was again broadcast around the globe. Little Saigon is home to the largest community of Vietnamese living outside of Vietnam, and its local TV stations beam the famed parade to an estimated 250,000 viewers, organizers said. Thousands more line the street.
The parade, which in recent years returned to being hosted by the city of Westminster, featured marching bands, traditional lion dancers, youth and veteran organizations, community groups and more.
