Vote count for California governor, L.A. mayor could be painfully slow. Don’t expect ‘instant gratification’

Experts are urging patience as primary tallies begin to roll in Tuesday evening. It’s a very real possibility that close races, such as a gubernatorial and L.A. mayoral contests, won’t be called until Wednesday or Thursday.
