Chaos, long lines overwhelm L.A.’s immigration courts, leading to default deportation orders

Mega master hearings have packed immigration courtrooms nationwide for the past two months, typically scheduling around 100 cases at one time. The confusion inside the courts has caused many to miss their hearings, leading to default orders of removal.
