Home prices up in 74% of Orange County ZIPs. How did your neighborhood do?

The median selling price was higher this March vs. a year ago in 74% of Orange County ZIP codes, according to real estate tracker Attom.

Among 84 local ZIP codes with sales, prices increased in the past year in 62 and decreased in 22.

Priciest ZIP? Newport Beach 92661 has a $7.2 million median. Cheapest? Laguna Woods 92637 at $539,000.

Sales were up in 48 ZIPs, down in 31 and 5 were flat. Busiest ZIP? Irvine 92618 with 74 sales.

Overall, the countywide median of $1,200,000 was up 4% over 12 months. Total sales of 2,157 were a 4% increase for the year.

Priciest: $2,230,000 average, up 20% in a year, with 673 sales, up 7% in a year.

Cheapest: $887,000 average, up 12% with 633 sales, up 6%.

In-between: $1,210,000 average, up 3% with 851 sales, up 1%.
