Orange County sheriff’s deputies are investigating politically charged graffiti in front of Mission Viejo City Hall.
A vandal spray-painted “8647” and “Where’s Young Kim” on the sidewalk in front of City Hall at La Paz Road and Maguerite Parkway, according to Orange County Sheriff’s Department Sgt. Gerard McCann. The vandalism was reported May 30.
The phrase “8647” has been interpreted by some as wanting to kill the 47th president, Donald Trump — while it has been seen in other circles as urging that Trump be removed from office.
The other vandalism was an apparent reference to Rep. Young Kim, R-Mission Viejo.
City officials said they also reported the vandalism to the FBI.
