Southern Californians should keep their eyes to the sky as SpaceX is scheduled to launch not one but two rockets this week.
Both Falcon 9 rockets will lift off from Vandenberg Space Force Base in Santa Barbara County.
The first launch is scheduled for Wednesday, July 30, with a window from 8:39 a.m. to 12:39 p.m. The rocket will deliver 19 Starlink satellites into low-Earth orbit.
According to SpaceX, this will be the 27th flight for the rocket’s first-stage booster. After separation, it will attempt to land on a droneship in the Pacific Ocean.

Residents of Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo and Ventura counties may hear a sonic boom.
A second launch, also to deliver Starlink satellites, is planned for Saturday, Aug. 2, with a window from 7:05 p.m. to 11:05 p.m. Read more at fox5sandiego.com>>>
