The California Highway Patrol has issued an Amber Alert for a 3-year-old boy who was last seen in Los Angeles Tuesday afternoon.
CHP officials say Tyshawn Tucker was last seen around 1 p.m. near the intersection of Compton Avenue and East Imperial Highway in Watts.
Tyshawn Tucker is believed to be with 29-year-old Ervin Tucker Jr., according to the Amber Alert.
While sharing the same last name, CHP officials did not disclose their potential familial relationship, and the boy’s disappearance is being described as an abduction.
Tyshawn Tucker is described as being around 3 feet 4 inches and weighing 60 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes, CHP officials said.
Ervin Tucker is approximately 5 feet 9 inches and weighs around 208 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes as well.
The elder Tucker is believed to be driving a black 2008 Mercedes S550 with the license plate 9NWU220.
Anyone with information about their whereabouts is urged to call 911 immediately.
