Police are investigating the shooting deaths of two homeless men in a Long Beach encampment on Wednesday night, Aug. 6.
Officers responded around 8:30 p.m. to near the 710 Freeway and Del Amo Boulevard, the agency said. When they arrived, officers found the men with gunshot wounds to their upper bodies.
Others at the homeless encampment were detained, CBS reported.
Details surrounding what led to the shootings were unclear.
