A man suspected of killing his wife in Lancaster has been extradited to the United States from Peru.
Jossimar Cabrera arrived at Los Angeles International Airport around 7:30 p.m. Friday, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Cabrera was subsequently taken into custody and booked on suspicion of murder, a charge initially filed by the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office at the Antelope Valley Courthouse, sheriff’s officials said.
Cabrera, 37, was arrested in Peru in late August and had been awaiting extradition.
He is accused of killing his wife, Sheylla Lisbet Cabrera, 33, with a knife on Aug. 10 at their apartment in Lancaster and then fleeing to Peru with their three children.
Her body was found on Aug. 16 at the bottom of an embankment in the Angeles National Forest.
The case remains under investigation, and a motive or additional details about the alleged killing have not been determined.
