Police seek leads in theft of ‘Clubber,’ a Bengal Lynx cat taken from a Westminster home

WESTMINSTER — Westminster police Wednesday asked for the public’s help tracking down a stolen Bengal Lynx cat and its captor.

Clubber’s owner said she discovered her pet missing Friday and recovered the cat’s AirTag, which was attached to the feline’s collar, near her driveway in the 10000 block of Finchley Avenue, police said.

When the owner reviewed home surveillance video footage she saw the suspect lure Clubber, possibly with food, and then snatched the cat and fled in a white pickup truck, which was possibly a Toyota Tacoma.

The suspect is about 40 to 50 years old and is about 6 feet tall with a medium build. He was wearing a long-sleeved orange shirt, black jeans and a white hat.

Anyone with information was asked to call police at 714-898-3315. Orange County Crime Stoppers will accept anonymous tips at 855-TIP-OCCS.
