Disneyland will close seven attractions for seasonal refurbishments as the Anaheim theme park resort prepares for a big birthday party on July 17 and the 70th anniversary celebration to follow throughout the summer.
Star Tours, Incredicoaster, Pixar Pal-A-Round, Storybook Land Canal Boats, Casey Jr. Circus Train, Redwood Creek Challenge Trail and Main Street Cinema will temporarily close in July as part of the standard refurbishment schedule at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure.
The seven new attraction closures join Matterhorn Bobsleds, Enchanted Tiki Room, Pixie Hollow and Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln, which were already shuttered for refurbishment.

The Star Tours motion simulator in Disneyland’s Tomorrowland will close on Monday, June 30 for an extended refurbishment that will run through early August or longer.
The Pixar Pal-A-Round eccentric wheel with sliding gondolas in Pixar Pier at Disney California Adventure will be closed July 14-24 for a seasonal refurbishment.
The Main Street Cinema will close on July 15 and 16 to install the new “Last Verse” video documenting the creation of new lyrics penned by the late Disney songwriter Richard Sherman for the “It’s A Small World” song.
The “Last Verse” will begin playing in the Main Street U.S.A. cinema on July 17 in honor of Disneyland’s 70th anniversary.

DCA’s Incredicoaster (July 28) and Redwood Creek Challenge Trail (July 21) will both close for refurbishments scheduled to stretch through at least early August.
The Storybook Land Canal Boats (July 21) and Casey Jr. Circus Train (July 28) attractions that intertwine in Fantasyland at Disneyland will both be closed through at least early August.

The Pixie Hollow meet-and-greet area in Fantasyland where visitors shrink down to the size of a fairy to visit Tinker Bell is scheduled to return on Sunday, June 29 after an extended closure that began in September.
The Enchanted Tiki Room is set to return on July 2 after repairs are completed on the animated talking tree outside the animatronic bird attraction that closed in late April.
The Matterhorn Bobsleds roller coaster that closed in early May for an extended refurbishment is expected to remain closed through at least early August.

The “Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln” show closed in April and is not expected to return until fall 2026 after the yearlong run of Disneyland’s 70th anniversary celebration.
“Walt Disney — A Magical Life” will run by itself during its initial run when the new animatronic show debuts July 17 and will then play in rotation with “Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln” in Disneyland’s Main Street Opera House.
