Disneyland needs to change the population sign at the front entrance that’s off by 250 million visitors now that a new attendance milestone has been reached by the Anaheim theme park.
Disneyland’s all-time attendance over the past 70 years has reached 900 million visitors, according to the new “Disneyland Handcrafted” by documentary filmmaker Leslie Iwerks.

The new “Disneyland Handcrafted” documentary about the one-year blitz to create the first Disney theme park will debut Jan. 22 on YouTube and the Disney+ streaming service.
The blue carpet premiere of “Disneyland Handcrafted” took place on Jan. 8 at the Walt Disney Studios Lot in Burbank.
The Disneyland population sign on the train station at the park entrance was last updated in 2013 to 650 million — which is off by 250 million today.

Attendance at Disneyland increased 0.5% in 2024 to 17.3 million visitors, according to Themed Entertainment Association estimates.
