Camarillo Premium Outlets to host immersive light festival

A new immersive attraction inspired by the myth of the lost city of Atlantis will debut in Ventura County this summer. Imaginarium, the team behind large-scale illuminated festivals across the U.S., announced it will launch its latest experience at Camarillo Premium Outlets beginning Friday, August 8.

The outdoor event will run through Sunday, October 12, and spans more than 1.5 acres with over five million lights. Organizers say the walk-through installation will guide guests of all ages through nine glowing underwater-themed realms, combining fantastical displays, ambient soundscapes, and vibrant, interactive designs.

According to Imaginarium, visitors will “dance through bright coral reefs and gardens,” encounter glowing sea creatures, and explore a temple said to be filled with “secrets once shared by ancient ocean spirits.”

Each themed realm will also include intricately staged photo opportunities featuring props such as a seashell throne, driftwood swing, and crescent moon, all designed to blend into the illuminated scenery.

General admission also includes access to John’s Adrenaline Circus, a high-energy live performance described by organizers as a daily showcase of “breathtaking stage acts and jaw-dropping stunts.”

Located at 740 E. Ventura Blvd. in Camarillo, the “Atlantis” experience will operate from 7 to 10 p.m. on Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and from 7 to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

General admission tickets start at $21 per person. Discounted pricing is available for children ages 3 to 12, seniors over 62, and military personnel with valid ID. Children age 2 and under are free. Free parking, along with snacks and beverages for purchase, will also be available on site.

Imaginarium is operated by the International Culture Exchange Group, which launched the first Chinese Lantern Festival in the U.S. in 2011. The company reports having produced more than 50 family-focused attractions in cities across California and Arizona. In 2025, it plans to introduce six new touring shows in a dozen cities nationwide.
