Feds charge Gov. Newsom’s former chief of staff over alleged fraud, tax crimes

Political consultant Dana Williamson was arrested Wednesday and faces a 23-count federal indictment with charges that include bank fraud, wire fraud, filing false tax returns and making false statements.
