A 50-year-old Victorville man who served for several years as a softball coach has been arrested and charged in the repeated sexual assault of a teenage girl, and investigators believe there may be additional victims, authorities announced on Monday.
Investigators with the Crimes Against Children (CAC) Detail received information on June 30 that Armando Felix was suspected of sexually assaulting an underage female on several occasions in the city of Victorville.
“The repeated sexual abuse occurred when the victim was approximately 13-14 years old, between the years 2012 and 2013,” the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department said.
Investigators said that Felix, who is also accused of a separate sex assault involving a minor, met his victim while coaching her softball team.
On Friday, Felix was arrested at the Victorville Courthouse after the District Attorney’s Office filed felony charges of lewd and lascivious acts with a child under 14 years old against him.

Felix was at the courthouse attending proceedings tied to his other sex assault investigation. No details regarding that investigation were released.
Detectives released Felix’s photograph because they believe there may be more victims and are asking them to come forward.
Anyone with information regarding this investigation was asked to contact Detective Wendy Winegar at 909-890-4904. Callers wishing to remain anonymous may call the We-Tip Hotline at 1-800-78-CRIME (27463).
