A Los Angeles hospital is asking for the public’s help to identify a patient who has been receiving care for several days.
According to Dignity Health, on the evening of Aug. 9, a man was brought to California Hospital Medical Center after he was found unresponsive near the intersection of South Alvarado and 7th streets in the Westlake District.
He’s been receiving care for several days now, but hospital staff say his identity remains unknown, and he has no documentation or evidence that could help reveal his name.

He’s described as a Hispanic man in his early 50s with brown eyes and black and gray hair. He stands around 5 feet 5 inches and weighs around 145 pounds, officials said.
Due to patient confidentiality laws, the exact nature of his condition was not disclosed, but photos shared by Dignity Health showed he was hooked up to a ventilator and had several cuts and scabs on his nose and forehead.
Anyone who may be able to identify him is urged to contact California Hospital Medical Center staff at 213 742-5511 or 213 507-5495.
