LEGO and Nike are collaborating to release exclusive merchandise and host special experiences in cities around the world this summer, including a limited-time Nike x LEGO Play Arena at Legoland California.
This summer and fall, Nike and LEGO are dropping the Nike Air Max Dn x LEGO Collection, the Nike Dunk Low x LEGO Collection, and a line of apparel and accessories, along with the LEGO Nike Dunk set.
Nike and LEGO Group are kicking off their global multi-year partnership this summer after first announcing it back in August 2024.
The first in a series of global immersive experiences, Legoland California is opening the Nike x LEGO Play Arena only from June 7-11, 2025, Nike and LEGO Group announced.
Kids and families can participate in the basketball-themed experience by designing their own LEGO Minifigure athlete trading card, building a mini basketball jersey, and practicing their ultimate three-pointer shot. Access to the Play Arena will be included with general admission at Legoland California Resort.
The experience heads next to Europe. Nike and LEGO Group’s football activation in London will take place from July 19-27, 2025.
In Greater China, Nike will be holding several co-branded community events and in-store displays and activations at the Shanghai House of Innovation.
In the fall, Nike will unveil a multifunctional playground made of recycled shoes in Shanghai, part of a commitment Nike made to build 100 Nike Grind courts across Greater China, with the company saying 42 have been built as of this year.
The 1,180-piece LEGO Nike Dunk set goes on sale July 1. The set features a Nike Dunk, rotatable brick basketball toy and iconic “Dunk” slogan that sports fans can build, rebuild and display, Nike and LEGO Group announced. There are several stash compartments to store championship rings or other essentials, as well as extra laces for custom color swap-outs. The set also comes with a unique basketball Minifigure, B’Ball Head.
The Nike Air Max Dn x LEGO Collection and line of apparel and accessories will go on sale August 1.
Then, on September 1, the Nike Dunk Low x LEGO Collection and more will go on sale.
Also, Nike and LEGO have announced that three-time WNBA MVP A’ja Wilson will be helping engage kids through a reimagined world of play that will come to life across digital channels. More information will be announced in the coming weeks.
Nike said global employees based at the Nike World Headquarters in Beaverton, Ore., will learn how to become youth sport coaches to host kids from a local nonprofit organization for a day of sport as part of International Day of Play on June 11.
Nike said additional LEGO sets will go on sale in September, and additional Nike footwear and apparel will be unveiled through the fall. More information will be released at a later date.
The LEGO Nike Dunk set is available now for pre-order at LEGO.com/nike and will be available at LEGO.com/nike and in LEGO Stores beginning July 1. Products will also be available in select Nike stores across the globe and at nike.com.
The Nike Dunk Low x LEGO Collection and Nike Air Max Dn x LEGO Collection will be available at nike.com and select retail partners.
