One Southern California city was ranked among the top five places to raise a family, according to WalletHub.
Irvine was named the 4th best place to raise a family. The Orange County city was the only one in Southern California to make the top five.
The study evaluated over 180 U.S. cities across 45 key metrics, including housing affordability, quality of local schools and healthcare systems, and family fun and recreation opportunities to determine the ranking.
The metrics were graded on a 100-point scale, with 100 representing the “best” city to raise a family in.

Los Angeles was listed as the 76th best place to raise a family.
