These California gas stations are offering 40 cents off gasoline on Thursday

Circle K is celebrating American Red Cross Month on the West Coast by offering a special “Fuel Day” event, offering customers across California 40 cents off gas per gallon at select locations on Thursday, March 20.

A spokesperson with the convenience store brand said the company will donate a portion of the proceeds from this event to the American Red Cross to support its vital relief efforts, with the funds helping communities during times of crisis.

“We’re so thankful for our partnership with the American Red Cross and proud to champion their efforts across our community,” said George Wilkins, Vice President of Operations for Circle K’s West Coast Business Unit. “With so much work still to be done in recovering from this winter’s wildfires as well as preparing for future disasters, it’s important we continue supporting the relief and recovery efforts while bringing value to our loyal customers with another exciting Fuel Day.”

More than 240 Circle K locations across California, Oregon, and Washington will participate in the event. This offering follows a similar initiative held in January, which helped raise funds for wildfire relief efforts in Southern California.

“This year’s disasters have set a whirlwind pace,” said Sean Mahoney, Chief Executive Officer of the Red Cross Southern California Region. “Thank you to Circle K for their support during March, Red Cross Month, and throughout the year to help ensure that the Red Cross can respond whenever and wherever we’re needed, providing relief and hope during times of crises.”

Customers wishing to take advantage of the 40-cent fuel discount can find participating Circle K locations using the Store Locator tool on the company’s website. The discounted price will be reflected at the pump from 4 to 7 p.m. local time at participating locations across California, while supplies last.
