A man who police say was caught using his phone to record up a woman’s skirt in Irvine last week apparently had other victims, and authorities are asking the public to come forward with any information.
“COMMUNITY ALERT – We are asking for your help!” the Irvine Police Department posted on X Friday morning. “On August 6, officers investigated a male who used his phone to record up a woman’s skirt while she was shopping at Walmart.”
Police also shared footage of the suspect being arrested and surveillance video from inside the store.
That surveillance video was used to help find the suspect, identified as 23-year-old Damian Bravo of Santa Ana, as he tried to flee the Walmart.
Bravo was arrested for invasion of privacy and booked, police said.
Investigators say they later determined that the Bravo had recorded other women and are now asking them to come forward.
