Dan Albano’s Fab 5 outstanding girls basketball players last week, Jan. 7, 2026:

Kamdyn Klamberg, Sage Hill, Jr., G/F

Klamberg scored a career-high 31 points in a 79-57 victory against Mission Hills at the Matt Denning Hoops Classic at Mater Dei. She also scored 22 points on 9 of 15 shooting from the floor in a 67-58 victory against St. Mary’s in the finals of the Holiday Classic in Portland, Ore.

Adyra Rajan, Fairmont Prep, Sr., G

The Harvard commit scored a season-high 37 points, including nine 3-pointers, in a 109-85 win against Rancho Christian in the semifinals of the SoCal Holiday Prep Classic. The Huskies’ point total was believed to be a school record. Rajan earned all-tournament honors.

Kayla Rice, JSerra, Jr., F

Rice had 17 points and eight rebounds to help the Lions defeat Fairmont Prep 51-33 in the finals of the SoCal Holiday Prep Classic. She and teammate Vivian Grenald were named tournament co-MVPs.

Amira Tomizh, El Modena, Sr., G

Tomizh scored 29 points in a 51-41 victory against West Covina to help the Vanguards improve to 17-0. She entered the week averaging 13.6 points and 2.3 steals.

Lenzy Turner, El Toro, Jr., G

Turner scored a career-high 30 points and added two steals in a 56-40 loss against Carlsbad at the Orange County-San Diego Showcase at San Clemente.
