The Orange County high school boys water polo rankings for Sept. 22, 2025:

1. Newport Harbor 11-0 (1): The recently-crowned South Coast Tournament champion plays host to Loyola (8-4) on Wednesday.
2. JSerra 7-3 (2): The Lions lost to Miramonte 6-5 in overtime in the fifth-place match at the South Coast Tournament.
3. Corona del Mar 12-2 (3): The Sea Kings bounced back from a 13-11 loss to De La Salle in the second round to place ninth at the South Coast Tournament.
4. Santa Margarita 11-2 (5): The Eagles beat Mater Dei 13-10 and Harvard-Westlake 15-14 on Saturday to take 13th at the South Coast Tournament.
5. Mater Dei 6-7 (4): The Monarchs lost four straight against strong teams — Cathedral Catholic, Corona del Mar, Santa Margarita and Long Beach Wilson — to place 16th at the South Coast Tournament.
6. Laguna Beach 9-5 (7): The Breakers rebounded from a first-round loss to Harvard-Westlake to win four straight at the South Coast Tournament for 17th place. Max Sauers stayed hot with six goals in a tournament-closing 12-10 win against Buena.
7. Foothill 7-6 (10): The Knights rise after beating Los Alamitos twice last week, including once at the South Coast Tournament. Foothill plays host to Crean Lutheran on Tuesday in a key Crestview League match.
8. Los Alamitos 7-9 (8): The Griffins beat Alta Loma 17-12 in their final match of the South Coast Tournament to avoid an 0-5 record.
9. San Juan Hills 6-3 (9): The Stallions play at Beckman on Tuesday in an intriguing South Coast League opener.
10. Huntington Beach 7-10 (10): The Oilers have avenged early-season losses to Beckman and San Clemente in their past two tournaments.
