Celebrate Orange County’s Vietnamese American history

Five decades of the Vietnamese American journey will be celebrated with a three-day cultural heritage festival this weekend.

Hosted at the Mile Square Park’s Freedom Hall, the festival is about “honoring the past, celebrating the present and empowering the future.” It is being presented by First District County Supervisor Janet Nguyen’s office.

The weekend will feature live performances, rides and games and lots to eat.

“Wander through our cultural exhibit hall to explore the remarkable journey of the Vietnamese American community, from refuge to resilience, told through powerful visuals, artifacts, and personal stories,” organizers said.
