Disneyland will close six attractions for seasonal refurbishments during the busy festival season as the 2026 Lunar New Year celebration gives way to the annual Food & Wine Festival at Disney California Adventure.
Jungle Cruise, Jumpin’ Jellyfish, Sailing Ship Columbia, Davy Crockett’s Explorer Canoes, Pixie Hollow and “Fantasmic” will temporarily close in February as part of the standard refurbishment schedule at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure.
The six new attraction closures join Rise of the Resistance, Incredicoaster, It’s a Small World, Grizzly River Run and “Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln” that were already shuttered for refurbishment.

DCA’s 2026 Lunar New Year event ends Feb. 22 with just enough time to reset the park’s parade corridor for Disney’s Food & Wine Fest that starts on March 6.

The Jungle Cruise boat ride in Adventureland at Disneyland will close on Feb. 17 for seasonal refurbishment with no reopening date set.
The Jumpin’ Jellyfish parachute ride in the Paradise Gardens themed land at Disney California Adventure will be closed from Feb. 23 through March 5 for seasonal refurbishment.

Traffic on the Rivers of America at Disneyland will be disrupted with the Sailing Ship Columbia and the Davy Crockett’s Explorer Canoes out of commission in February. The Columbia will be out of service on Feb. 2-6 and Feb. 9-13. The human-powered canoes will be closed Feb. 2-5 and Feb. 9-12.
The “Fantasmic” nighttime spectacular on Disneyland’s Rivers of America will be dark on Feb. 1-5, Feb. 8-12, Feb. 16-19 and Feb. 22-26.

Pixie Hollow in Fantasyland will be closed during big chunks of February (Feb. 3 and 5, Feb. 10-14, Feb. 16-21 and Feb. 23-28) after the Disneyland character meet-and-greet area was recently shuttered for a 10-month refurbishment.

Rise of the Resistance in Galaxy’s Edge remains closed for its first refurbishment since the Star Wars dark ride debuted in 2020. Disneyland’s most popular ride closed on Jan. 20 with no return date yet announced.
It’s a Small World began shedding its holiday overlay on Jan. 26 in order to transform back to its traditional mode. A return date has not yet been announced, but Small World is expected to return on or around Feb. 6.

The Incredicoaster in DCA’s Pixar Pier is scheduled to return on Feb. 6 after a monthlong seasonal refurbishment of the Incredibles-themed roller coaster.
DCA’s Grizzly River Run closed in early January for an annual winter refurbishment of the river rapids ride that is expected to stretch into March.

The “Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln” show closed in April and is not expected to return until August 2026 after the 15-month run of Disneyland’s 70th anniversary celebration.
The new “Walt Disney — A Magical Life” that debuted in July will run by itself during its initial run and will then play in rotation with “Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln” in Disneyland’s Main Street Opera House.
Disneyland may occasionally run the “Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln” show whenever the Walt Disney animatronic malfunctions.
