Disneyland goes wild with 13 banana treats for Savannah Banana Day

Disneyland chefs have gone wild with a banana-centric menu featuring 13 sweet treats in honor of a barnstorming exhibition team known as the “Harlem Globetrotters of Baseball” that’s bringing the Greatest Show in Sports to the Happiest Place on Earth.

Disneyland will celebrate Savannah Banana Day on Wednesday, May 28 with a team parade, dance celebrations and themed food.

Bananas players will participate in a team cavalcade along Main Street U.S.A. and perform their signature “Hey Baby” dance routine in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle.

The Disneyland culinary team has created a menu of banana-inspired specialty treats to celebrate the team’s visit.

The Savannah Bananas play a popular brand of baseball known as Banana Ball, featuring rowdy and fast-paced games with choreographed dance routines, epic scoring celebrations and a 10-foot-tall pitcher.

Savannah Bananas Day at Disneyland is tied to the 2025 Banana Ball World Tour that takes the Georgia team to 17 Major League stadiums — including sold-out games at Angel Stadium in Anaheim on May 30 and 31.
