Do you know him? OC Sheriff’s Department seeks to ID man’s remains found near Santa Ana River Trail

The Orange County Sheriff’s Department sought the public’s help Monday in identifying a man whose skeletonized remains were found near Yorba Regional Park in Anaheim.

Someone found the remains on Oct. 11 off the Santa Ana River Trail, according to the Sheriff’s Department.

They appear to be the remains of a White man between 25 and 40 years old. The individual was about 5 feet 10 inches tall, and possibly had short brown hair. He was wearing tan Dickies pants size 38×34, white Nike Air Force sneakers with white socks and a black T-shirt, size XL or XXL, with the word “fuego” on the front.

Despite the oversized clothing, investigators believe the man was of average size and build.

Orange County Coroner officials have contacted forensic artist Carl Koppelman to develop a possible likeness of the individual.

Anyone with information that could help identify the man was asked to contact the Orange County Coroner’s Office at 714-647-7400.
