Mark your calendars: After a successful first year, Foods of Garden Grove Live (or FOGG Live) returns on Friday, Sept. 26. This one-night event highlights the best of the city’s diverse dining scene.
Garden Grove is home to Vietnamese, Latino and Korean communities, whose eateries have helped shape the city’s reputation as one of O.C.’s most culinary rich areas. Participating restaurants include Smoke Queen BBQ, Los Sanchez, Kaju Soft Tofu, Smoking Robs, Barrio, Pho Redbo, Bò no Nabe, Los Cotijas Taco Shop, Phuc Long (coffee and tea), Carolina’s Italian Restaurant, Azteca, Tomy’s Fast-N-Fresh Burger, Sabroso! Mexican Grill, Apollo Burgers, Jerusalem Roastery, Estrada’s Grill and many more.

Other highlights will include a performance by No Duh (a No Doubt tribute band) and opener Remix. And for those who want to experience some local art, guests can check out Art in the Dark, a UV-reactive street art and interactive blacklight exhibit. The Glow Zone will feature oversized LED lawn games, glow games and the chance to create blacklight crafts.
While admission to the event and concert is free for everyone, you’ll need to purchase tasting tickets to sample the food. Ticket options are as follows: Tickets start at $3 for a single-ticket food item or $3 off a drink, $15 for five tastings, $30 for 10 tastings and $45 for 20 tastings.
A VIP ticket, which gains you access to a private area, costs $75 each. It also gives you access to 16 tastings, dedicated seating, fire pits and table and yard games.
Tickets can be purchased online at ggcity.org/foodsofgardengrove until the day before the event. In-person tickets can be purchased at the event on the day of Foods of Garden Grove Live.
