Here are free egg hunts and Easter Bunny visits planned in cities across Orange County

The Easter Bunny has a busy schedule the next two weekends; it’ll keep him hopping from one end of Orange County to the other.

Many cities and organizations host community egg hunts and spring festivals each year. Here are some of the planned events coming up:

Anaheim: The Anaheim Hills Rotary Club will host its 15th annual Easter Festival with egg hunts, games, photos with the Easter Bunny and more from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on April 13 at Ronald Reagan Park. Information: anaheimhillrotary.org

Buena Park: A sustainability fair will accompany the city’s Eggstravaganza on April 19 at Boisseranc Park. There will be a petting zoo, crafts, games, entertainment and candy scrambles. Activities and the fair go from 8 a.m. to noon; a pancake breakfast kicks things off. Information: BuenaPark.com

Costa Mesa: Spring Fest will be April 19 at Lions Park. A Pirate Adventure will be created on the park’s great lawn with treasure egg hunts, photos with the Pirate Bunny, entertainment, games and more. Information: costamesaca.gov/springfest

Dana Point: Egg hunts will be held at two of the city’s parks on April 19: Pines Park and Sea Canyon Park. The Easter Bunny will visit for photos from 9 to 9:45 a.m. There will be a magic show at the same time and the egg hunts will start promptly at 10 a.m. A pancake breakfast will be held at both locations from 8 to 11 a.m. Information: danapoint.org

Fountain Valley: Bunny photos, egg hunts, carnival games and other entertainment will be offered at the Fountain Valley Sports Park from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on April 19. Children should take their own baskets for the egg hunts the will begin at 8:30 a.m. Information: fountainvalley.gov

Fullerton: Spring Eggstravaganza will be hosted at the Hunt Library on April 19. There will be egg hunts and other fun from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Register for the egg hunt at fullertoneconnect.com

Garden Grove: Along with egg hunts, the city’s annual Eggscavation at the Atlantis Play Center will feature carnival games, inflatable obstacle courses, a petting zoo and more. The fun will be 1 to 4 p.m. on April 19. Tickets – $12 for children, $3 for others – must be purchased ahead of time at ggcity.org/eggscavation

Huntington Beach: The Kiwanis Club will host its Family Fun Day with egg hunts, a dunk tank, police and fire displays, entertainment and more. The free activities will be 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on April 19 at the Huntington Beach Sports Complex. Get more information and the schedule at kiwanishb.org

Laguna Hills: The city will host spring-themed activities, including photo opportunities and crafts, from 9 to 11 a.m. on April 12 at the Town Green at the community center. There will also be a magician. Information: lagunahillsca.gov

Laguna Niguel: The city will host its Bunny Bonanza from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on April 12 at Crown Valley Park, on the lower soccer field. There will be photos with Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny, games, crafts, a Touch-a-Truck area and more. There will be no egg hunt. Information: cityoflagunaniguel.org

La Habra: The city’s Spring Family Festival from 8 a.m. to noon on April 19 will feature egg hunts, a petting zoo, pictures with the Easter Bunny, inflatables and more entertainment. Activities require a wristband, which are $6 presale and $8 at the event, which will be held at La Bonita Park. Information: lahabraca.gov

Lake Forest: From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 12, the city will host its Bunny Blast featuring games, rides, entertainment and more. Children can bring their own baskets and visit themed egg stations (for the first 1,000 children) and there will be photo opportunities. Wristbands for the activities are $10 each and will be sold the day of the event while supplies last. Information: lakeforestca.gov

Newport Beach: The 10th annual Mayor’s Egg Race will be 10 a.m. to noon on April 12 at the Civic Center Lawn and will feature train rides, crafts, photo opportunities and other family activities, along with the races. Information: newportbeachca.gov

Placentia: The city’s Easter Eggcitement event will be 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on April 12 at Kraemer Memorial Park. The activities planned for children and families include games, crafts, storytime, pictures with the Easter Bunny and egg hunts. For more information: placenta.org

San Clemente: The Sensational Springtactular will be 9 a.m. to noon on April 19 at Vista Hermosa Sports Park. It will feature egg hunts, bunny visits, games and other entertainment. Wristbands are $15 and already for sale. Information: san-clemete.org

San Juan Capistrano: The city will be hosting its Spring Eggstravaganza on April 12 at Los Rios Park. Activities start at 10 a.m. and will feature egg hunts, photos with the Easter Bunny, balloon artists, a puppet show and more.  Information: sanjuancapistrano.org

Stanton: Egg hunts and a bunny visit are part of the Stanton city event to be hosted 9 to 11 a.m. on April 19 at Stanton Central Park. Information: stantonca.gov

Westminster: The city’s Bunny Hop will be held over two Saturdays and four parks. Visits with the Easter Bunny, egg hunts, games and more will be held from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at Bolsa Chica Park and 1 to 2:30 p.m. at John F. Land Park on April 12 and from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at Coronet Park and 1 to 2:30 p.m. at Tony Lam Park on April 19. Information: westminster-ca.gov

Yorba Linda: Kids can hunt for eggs by flashlight at 7:30 p.m. on April 18 at the Thomas Lasorda Jr. Field House, but pre-registration for that event is required. On April 19, the city will host its free and open-to-all 40th annual Egg-Citement Hunt from 10 a.m. to noon at Hurless Barton Park. There will be egg hunts, a petting zoo, games and other family activities. The egg hunts start at 10 a.m. sharp. Information: yorbalindaca.gov
