Hazel’s story: Hazel had several litters over three years, surviving on the kindness of a neighbor who fed her. Long Beach Spay and Neuter Foundation rescued Hazel and her latest litter of four kittens. An injury from being run over was discovered, an abdominal hernia that required a risky surgery. Hazel pulled through, and today she is a healthy cat who will never have another litter. After all she’s endured, Hazel deserves a home where she can be safe and loved for the rest of her life. She has two 5-month-old bonded kittens, Tom and Jerry, who are also looking for a home — together. They are playful, loving, and carry their mom’s resilient spirit.
Adoption fee: $170 for Hazel. Contact the rescue for more information if you’re interested in adopting Tom and Jerry.
