Knott’s Berry Farm closes early due to heavy rain and gusty winds

A wet and blustery end to the Presidents Day weekend has forced Knott’s Berry Farm to close early for the day due heavy rainfall and gusty winds at the Buena Park theme park.

Knott’s Berry Farm will close early on Monday, Feb. 16 at 2 p.m. due to inclement weather.

Unused Knott’s tickets dated for Monday can be used on any operating day through the end of 2026.

Select shops in the Knott’s California Marketplace will remain open until 7 p.m. on Monday.

Knott’s was scheduled to be open Monday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Heavy rainfall was forecast Monday afternoon and evening in inland Orange County with winds gusting to 40 mph, according to the National Weather Service.

Knott’s sister park Six Flags Magic Mountain closed on Monday due to the inclement weather.

SeaWorld San Diego will close an hour earlier than scheduled on Monday — pushing up its closing time from 7 p.m. to 6 p.m., according to the park’s website.
