Fresh off its Orange County debut, Prime Pizza is already expanding in the region. The Los Angeles-based pizzeria has announced a second O.C. location, this time in Brea.
The new shop officially opened Monday, Feb. 2, marking another step south for the cult-favorite brand that has earned praise from outlets like The Infatuation and Time Out.
Co-founded by Zak Fishman, the pizza spot built its reputation with straightforward pies made with solid ingredients. The dough uses flour from King Arthur Baking Company, while the sauce features Stanislaus tomatoes and olive oil from Corto Olive Oil in Lodi.

Menu highlights will include classic round pies, which measure in at 18 inches and eight slices, and include such options as cheese, sausage, vodka sauce, white, arrabbiata and more. Square pies (rectanguar, in full geometric transparency), come in at 18 by 12 inches cut into eight slices. Varities here include grandma, Sicilian, spicy pepperoni and meat lovers.
Gluten-free and vegan pies also available.
Beyond the pies, other comfort fare at Prime Pizza include garlic knots, meatballs and hot subs like chicken parm or a meatball hoagie. Baked pastas include bolognese and vodka rigatoni, as well as vegan and gluten-free pizza options, salads and its signature Churro Knots for dessert.
A grand opening fete is slated for Saturday, Feb. 21, which will feature free pizza, face painting, giveaways and merch for the first 50 guests in line.
“We’re incredibly excited to open our doors in Brea,” said Fishman, in a written release. “Brea has such a strong local food culture, and from day one we’ve felt genuinely welcomed by the community.”
Prime Pizza will continue its expansion in 2026 in areas like Torrance, Northridge, Thousand Oaks, Rancho Cucamonga and Riverside. Its first Orange County location opened in October 2025 in Mission Viejo.
