Noteworthy: Nguyen scored 30 points and had six assists in the Barons’ 79-53 win over Pacifica in the Oxford Academy Winter Tournament. Nguyen was named tournament MVP. He averaged 21 points and seven assists over four games in the tournament. Fountain Valley is 16-2 overall and 0-2 in the Sunset League.
