Noteworthy: Zepeda recorded a pinfall victory in 37 seconds in the 170-pound weight class that clinched a win, 39-34, against defending champion Corona in the CIF-SS Division 1 dual meet championship. In the semifinals, Zepeda sealed a 36-33 triumph against Hillcrest with a pinfall victory at 155 pounds.
