The Pacific Wine and Food Classic return for its seventh year on Saturday, Sept. 20. Guests can look forward to chowing down with reckless abandon on fare from over 35 notable Orange County chefs and restaurants.
New this year will be the Dessert Garden, a dedicated space strictly for sweets. Highlights will include executive pastry chef Andy de la Cruz of Rise Rooftop Lounge; the Crema Cafe & OC Baking Company’s mini kouign-amann; Melissa’s Produce’s strawberries drizzled with pistachio and chocolate sauces, a nod to the viral Dubai chocolate; Honey Pot Meadery; Rancho Capistrano Winery’s whisky bundt cake; Scratch Bakery Cafe; and Francium Chocolate, noted for their use of natural sugars.

And on the savory side of things, the main event will include bites from such chefs and eateries as Baba G’s Matthew Meredith, Cambalache and Villa Roma’s Leo Razo, Chelas Mexican Kitchen’s Karla Vasquez, Cucina Enoteca’s Cesar Sarmiento, Descanso’s Jose Angulo, Farmhouse at Roger’s Gardens’s Rich Mead, Lola’s by MFK’s Henry Pineda, Bosscat Kitchen and Libations’ and Miss Mini Donuts’ Leslie Nguyen, Puesto’s Raul Casillas, Salt & Lime Modern Taqueria‘s Zach Ficke, Strong Water Anaheim’s Steve Kling and (James Beard nominee) Ying Chang, Ten Sushi’s Toshi Muira, the Mayor’s Table’s Riley Huddleston, the Yellow Chilli’s Sanjeev Kapoor, Westwood Steak House’s Michael Ruiz and many more.
Lover Boards will also be on hand with a 20-foot charcuterie board.
Those who want to imbibe can enjoy a litany of California wines at the Paso Robles Grand Wine Experience, the Rosé All Day Gazebo or from the bartenders on hand mixing cocktails. For those who eschew booze, mocktails galore using zero-proof spirits will available.
Pacific Wine and Food Classic, which is a 21-and-over event (so no infants, toddlers or teenagers, unruly or otherwise), will take place at Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort.
