DIVISION 1
Huntington Beach (25-1) at Orange Lutheran (23-2), 6 p.m.
Outlook: The No. 3 seeded Oilers ride a 21-game winning streak into a clash with the reigning Division 1 champion and No. 2 Lancers. It’s also a showdown between junior quarterbacks: Roxie Shaia of Huntington Beach (86 TDs) vs. Makena Cook of Orange Lutheran (105 TDs).
JSerra (26-0) at Dos Pueblos (24-2), 5 p.m.
Outlook: The top-seeded Lions need to beat the No. 4 Chargers in Goleta to reach their first section final. JSerra has three receivers with at least 100 receptions in freshmen Ava Irwin and Tessa Russell and junior GG Szczuka.
DIVISION 2
Corona del Mar (16-14) at Newbury Park (18-7), 6 p.m.
Outlook: The Sea Kings, the fourth-place finisher from the Sunset League, feature several rising young players. Sophomore Addison Stern leads the offense as a dual threat QB while sophomore Mia Balabanian helps anchor the defense. Upland travels to Westlake in the other semifinal.
DIVISION 3
Roosevelt (13-10) at Mission Viejo (17-14), 5 p.m.
Outlook: The Diablos, an at-large entry from the South Coast League, are led by first-year QB Bailey McNeal and linebacker Emily Johnson among others. Glendora plays at La Serna in the other semifinal.
DIVISION 5
Vasquez (15-10) at Anaheim (14-10), 5 p.m.
Outlook: The Coast League champion Colonists are led by coach Vince Gomez, who also guides the school’s girls basketball team. Anaheim senior wide receiver Ashley Guzman has 123 receptions for 1,693 yards and 17 TDs. Castaic plays at Moreno Valley in the other semifinal.
