The Queen’s Court girls volleyball tournament is not a CIF-sanctioned tournament, but it still is seen as the first major event of the high school girls volleyball season.
The tournament is Saturday and Sunday at Momentus Sports Center in Irvine.
The Elite Varsity division includes Corona del Mar, JSerra, Mater Dei, Orange Lutheran, San Juan Hills and Santa Margarita.
Spectator admission is $15, either cash or via the SportsWrench app. Children 10 years old and younger are admitted free. Parking is $20; parking is not allowed on surrounding streets or in other parking lots that do not belong to Momentus Sports Center.
Tournament information is here.
The CIF Southern Section season begins Aug. 9
Santa Margarita defeated San Juan Hills in the Varsity Elite division final at last year’s Queen’s Court tournament.
