Shepherd mix William is a special boy with an ‘old soul’ spirit

Breed: Shepherd mix

Age: 5 years

Sex: Neutered male:

William’s story: They say that eyes are the windows to the soul, and William’s sweet face, along with his lovely eyes, truly reflect his gentle, wise spirit. A dog described as having an “old soul” often exhibits calmness, wisdom, and profound intuition, creating the impression that he has experienced life in many forms before. Such dogs are characterized by serene, quiet demeanors and deep emotional bonds with their human companions. William is a charmer who enjoys meeting new people and treasures those who spend meaningful time with him and connect with his spirit. He’s strong and adventurous, eager to explore and, with a little leash training, would make a wonderful hiking or walking buddy. He’s gotten along with other dogs, so may do just fine in a home with a canine companion for him. However, a meet and greet with a potential doggy roommate is a must before William can go home.

Adoption fee: William’s adoption will be paid for by the Dedicated Animal Welfare Group. His qualified adopter will just pay $20 for his microchip.

Adoption procedure: Application and screening of potential adopters is required to ensure they are the right fit for William. Visit William at the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center, 28095 Hillcrest, Mission Viejo; call 949-470-3045; or email ask-shelter@cityofmissionviejo.org.
