Following the success of its original Fountain Valley location, Kei Concepts, a leading Orange County restaurant group, is expanding its popular Vox Kitchen. The new, larger eatery, christened Vox Kitchen and Bar, will open on Monday, April 7 inside South Coast Plaza.
The menu will feature staples featured at its Fountain Valley eatery, including its lomo saltado, garlic noodles, rib bone soup, Peruvian chopped salad, and a burrata pear salad.
Vox Kitchen and Bar’s Pan-Asian cuisine celebrates cultural fusion rooted in the Chifa movement — Peruvian-Chinese tastes and flavors born from East Asian immigration.

“We’ve always believed in pushing the boundaries of flavor and dining experiences,” said Viet Nguyen, founder and executive chef of Kei Concepts, in a written release. “Expanding to South Coast Plaza allows us to share our passion for bold, innovative cuisine with an even larger audience, while offering a space that reflects the sophistication and vibrancy of our culinary vision. This next chapter marks an evolution for Vox Kitchen — one that celebrates our roots while embracing a refined and forward-thinking dining experience.”
An expanded bar program will be a highlight of the new space, featuring a 24-seat detached bar with more craft cocktail options to go along with its vast wine list. And the restaurant will arrive decked out with a natural wood theme, which can be seen in the tables and chairs to the vertical wall paneling and a wooden slat installation.
The newly designed restaurant will offer indoor and outdoor patio seating, with seating for 41 on the patio and seating for 27 inside. Vox Kitchen and Bar joins a slew of recent dining options inside the hallowed shopping galleria, including Ramen Nagi, Rooster and Rice, and Yu Cake.
Open daily from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m.
