The burger lineup at Urban Plates is getting hotter this year with the addition of a trio of new dishes.
The health-conscious chain is adding a few new grass-fed burger options to all 22 California locations, which cover San Diego, Los Angeles and Orange counties as well as Northern California, Sacramento and Davis spots.
The new burgers include the Duroc Bacon Cheeseburger. Priced at $14.25, it’s made with a beef patty topped with melted American cheese and crispy Duroc pork bacon, tomato, lettuce, white onion, and pickles.

The second addition is the Avocado Cheeseburger. The $14.75 burger is a chargrilled beef paired with American cheese and sliced avocado with tomato, white onion, pickles, and lettuce.
And rounding off the new trio is the Crispy Onion Cheeseburger for $13.25: The beef patty is topped with American cheese and onions, tomato, pickles, and lettuce.
All burgers include house-made Thousand Island dressing on a grilled bun and are served with herb seasoned fries or Truffle Fries for an additional $2.
Burgers aren’t the only new items on the menu, since the chain is also offering a French Dip sandwich made with thinly sliced strip loin roast, horseradish, Havarti cheese and caramelized red onions on a grilled rustic bread. It’s served with chips and au jus.
