‘Wall Street Whiz Kid’ pleads to stock scams enabled by projections of Hollywood glitz

The case of David Bloom came to a close Tuesday when he admitted to charges he convinced friends, neighbors and bar patrons he could help them get rich quick with insider stock tips that didn’t actually exist.
