Deputies shot a man on Saturday, May 9 who allegedly was armed with a knife in Laguna Hills, authorities said.
Deputies were dispatched a little after 8 a.m. to an area near Ridge Route Drive and Moulton Park regarding a disturbance call, the Orange County Sheriff’s Department reported.
“Deputies encountered a male subject armed with a knife and a deputy-involved shooting occurred,” the department said in a statement. “The subject was transported to the hospital. No deputies were injured.”
