Police arrested a Westminster man after a woman died in a suspected domestic violence case on Saturday, Nov. 8.
Officers responded around 8 p.m. to near Sinclair Avenue and Sorbonne, where someone reported a family member unresponsive and not breathing inside a home, according to the Westminster Police Department.
Crews from the Orange County Fire Authority first arrived and found the 44-year-old woman dead on a bed with signs of trauma, police said in a Sunday statement.
Detectives assumed the investigation and identified a suspect at the scene. Police believe the killing was a domestic violence incident that occurred earlier in the day.
Police served a search warrant and collected evidence before arresting 47-year-old Thai Huynh on suspicion of murder. Police did not immediately release the victim’s name.
